I had a really comfortable and relaxed consultation with Dr. Clark despite being very nervous about the condition of my teeth. The whole process from calling and scheduling up until the time I walked out the door, was very enjoyable. Everyone was friendly, knowledgable, and just a pleasure to experience. Actually looking forward to going back.
Very hard to reschedule appointments if need be. Be prepared to pay $50 fee for all missed appointments with no flexibility or exceptions made at all.
Last Wednesday was my first experience with Dr. Barry Rotz & Associates. My old dentist had closed his practice and I needed to find someone new. Dr. Rotz was referred to me by a friend. The office is conveniently located in Wexford. Upon entering the office, I was greeted by their friendly receptionist. After some preliminary paperwork I was taken back for my exam, on time. They quickly went to work preparing me for my exam, explaining things all along the way. Dr. Clarke was fantastic. Going over all my past records and my current medical history. The exam was very thorough and again everything was explained every step of the way. I was even able to see what the dentist sees through the use of digital photography. Next I was seen by the dental hygienist Brooke. Again she did a very thorough job of cleaning my teeth and also explained every step what was happening. She also was able to schedule my next appointment. The whole experience was fantastic (well as far as going to the dentist can be). The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to everyone.
The office staff is always quick, on time, professional and friendly. My son has felt comfortable since his first visit at age 3 and I prefer this office to any other Dentists I've seen in my lifetime. I stick to my same Hygienist-Brooke, but have seen several Dentists and they have all been great. A+ for this office!
I tried them based on a friends recommendation but left. The practice seemed like a business and me a receipt. On my first appointment, they made me wait 45 minutes and then told me that they could only do the cleaning and would need to come a second time to see the dentist. This was inconvenient to me. I suppose it was convenient for them to schedule things that way. The dentist I saw told me that she only comes on Monday so I'd need to schedule all my appointments for Monday. Again, that's not convenient. The receptionist and the hygienist were cold and impersonal. The final straw came when I had my 6 month. Try to be considerate, I called to say I would be 15 minutes late. They told me I'd need to reschedule because it didn't work with their schedule. I told them that I would be able to wait myself to fit around folks but that was out of the question. So, they make me wait 45 minutes on my first appointment but when the shoe is on the other foot, it is no way. I need to have a practice that treats me like a valued customer and not just another insurance claim. I need a practice that meets me half way on scheduling. I need a dentist who has more friendly and considerate people.
